TimeTECH’s President and CEO James Edwards (on right) appeared in this month’s SNAP Mississauga Newspaper on the second page. The picture was taken at the MBOT Business Awards of Excellence where TimeTECH was presented the Small Business of The Year Award.
Earlier this month, Rogers Television came into our Mississauga office to film us for a show titled “In Business” – more information, and an online version will be available once production has finished.
2008 will be remembered as a year of challenges in the North American and global economies. For TimeTECH it was also a breakthrough year that has established TimeTECH as a leading partner for organizations looking to automate their time and attendance / workforce management.
TimeTECH’s core time and attendance product, TimeKeeper has been installed in over 8000 sites word wide, with over 1000 implementations in Canada alone.
Throughout 2008, TimeTECH hit many milestones including: winning the award for Best Small Business from the Mississauga Board of Trade, being nominated as a top solution provider by the CDN Channel Elite Awards, almost doubling our staff count in our Mississauga offices, and surpassing sales goals with great leaps.
This year TimeTECH was involved in community efforts by donating workstations to the Rouge Valley Health System, which helped their hospital’s expansion and enhancement of their facilities. As part of the 2009 plan, TimeTECH plans on participating heavily in giving back to the community as we feel that the community has given so much to us that it’s the least we could do.
On behalf of TimeTECH I would like to thank all employees, partners and customers for a very successful year and wish everyone all the best during the holidays and into the New Year.
Happy Holidays!
Last night TimeTECH’s Joint Managing Partner Gil Yuval flew in from Israel to visit our Mississauga office to review our vast expansion plans. We all welcome Gil to our office and always enjoy his visits!
TimeTECH is currently undergoing a large expansion plan which includes doubling our Mississauga staff (both support, and sales), new product developments and IT infrastructure to support our immense growth plan.
This expansion plan is designed to maintain the high level of customer service, support and expertise that TimeTECH offers their clients, and gives us the ability to grow our partner base even further!
There has already been a few posts welcoming some of our new hires to the organization… but check the blog often for even more updates to our expansion plan.
The TimeTECH team is always asked “Do you use your own software to track time and attendance?” Absolutely we do!
A couple months ago, I decided to book a trip to beautiful Cayo Coco Cuba, but before I went through the booking process, I logged into iBrowse, TimeTECH’s web portal and asked my supervisor to approve my vacation by using the Absence Request Module. Although my supervisor did not approve my request for 6 months paid vacation, I was approved for 2 weeks which is good enough! (I leave on Monday!)
Absence Request Module:
The Absence Request Module allows you to request absences, such as Vacation time, by means of our internet / intranet based module called iBrowse. Supervisors automatically get notified with an email that enables them to approve or decline the absences.
Benefits of using Absence Request functionality include:
-Reduce paperwork by requesting and approving all absence requests electronically
-Eliminates communication errors by ensuring accurate information being passed on to the right people
-Request and approve absences quickly and conveniently
-All information is given up front to supervisors before approving an absence with forecasted balances
-Employees get notification of request via email and iBrowse
-Send requests to multiple supervisors
-Automatic Default Job/Activity Allocations
-Use iBrowse and Absence Planning Module to further enhance functionality

We received a very nice letter today from Mayor Hazel McCallion of The City of Mississauga congratulating us on our Small Business of the Year Award from the Mississauga Board of Trade. What a great way to being the month of December!
Below is a copy of the letter. (Sorry about the quality… it was scanned from fancy paper stock from the Mayor’s Office)
